Community Outreach

Environmental advocacy is an important part of my identity and is brought about by my long-standing passion for conserving natural resources. Currently, my advocacy work has focused on proposing a sustainability module to New Student Orientation (NSO) to better educate incoming students on how to reduce personal waste. It has also focused on wetland conservation, particularly by means of a report entailing methods of balancing agriculture and development with preserving southeastern palustrine and estuarine wetlands. Further, I have served as a filmmaker and advocate for the Coalition to Save Old Crow Wetland of Huntingdon, PA through my engagement as a Chesapeake Bay Club member.
